A Small Host That Does One Thing
Oxyforge is managed WordPress hosting built and run in Singapore. No cPanel, no call centre, no plan that quietly triples on renewal.
Most WordPress Sites Are Hosted Badly
Not through anyone's fault. A small business buys a shared hosting plan, the site is fine for a year, then it is slow and nobody can say why. The control panel has four hundred options and none of them is the one that matters. Backups turn out to be weekly, or an add-on, or missing. The renewal price is triple the signup price. Asking for help reaches somebody reading from a script.
Oxyforge started because the alternative was obvious and nobody local was doing it: put the servers where the visitors are, turn on the caching properly and leave it on, back everything up every night, and let people get at their files with the tools they already know. Then charge one honest price for it.
The platform is our own, written rather than assembled. Provisioning, backups, staging, domain connection, usage metering, malware scanning and the monitoring behind all of it are code we maintain. That is why a new site is live in under a minute and why a fix does not wait on somebody else's roadmap.
Six Things We Decided Early
These are the trade-offs behind the product. They explain most of what we do, and all of what we refuse.
One Thing, Properly
WordPress and nothing else. Every decision, from the cache to the dashboard, is made for one kind of site. A platform that hosts everything is tuned for nothing.
Close To The Visitor
Servers in Singapore because that is where the audience is. A page request from here should not cross an ocean before anybody sees it.
No Surprises In The Bill
The price you sign up at is the price next year. No introductory rate that triples, no feature held back for a higher tier.
Boring Where It Counts
Nginx, PHP, MySQL, Redis, Cloudflare. Nothing exotic in the stack, because exotic is what breaks at two in the morning.
Say What We Are Not
We publish who should not use us and we do not advertise services we cannot staff. A host that fits everyone fits nobody.
Built, Not Bought
The platform is our own code: provisioning, backups, staging, domains, monitoring. When something needs fixing we fix it, rather than filing a ticket with a vendor.
What Is Actually Running
Google Cloud, asia-southeast1. Cloudflare in front for the rest of the world.
Backups of every site kept 30 days, plus a malware scan of every file.
To build a complete WordPress site, measured by our own check every night.
Its own isolated container and system user, so no customer can reach another.
Things We Will Not Do
Published here so nobody finds out after paying.
Not Our Job
- We do not migrate sites for customers. The platform makes the move safe instead, and the help centre shows you how.
- We do not host email mailboxes. Websites only.
- We do not host anything that is not WordPress, and we do not give out root access.
- We do not build, fix or redesign websites, or debug third-party plugins for you.
What You Can Expect
- A support ticket reaches the people who built the platform, with your sites in front of them.
- Backups, staging, SSL, caching and the developer tools on every plan, including the cheapest.
- A price that does not change on renewal.
- A straight answer when the right thing for you is somewhere else.
See Whether It Suits You
A free account can spin up a temporary website for 24 hours. No card, no commitment, and enough to judge the thing properly.
