Everything Your WordPress Site Needs, And Nothing Else.
Speed, backups, staging and isolation are not features you switch on. They are how every site here is built.
Fast For The People Who Actually Visit Your Site
Your visitors are in Singapore and the region, so that is where the servers are. Everything between them and your pages is built for speed.
Servers In Singapore
Google Cloud, Singapore region. A page request from Sembawang does not travel to Frankfurt and back.
Full-Page Cache Built In
Every page is served from cache and cleared the moment you publish. No caching plugin to configure, nothing to break.
Redis Object Cache
WordPress keeps its expensive database lookups in memory. WooCommerce and busy dashboards feel it most.
Cloudflare In Front
Static files are served from Cloudflare’s edge close to each visitor, and its firewall drops the junk before it reaches you.
PHP 8.3 And Nginx
Current PHP, Nginx and MySQL 8.4, tuned for WordPress. You pick the PHP version per site, 8.3 by default.
Room To Breathe
Each site has its own CPU, memory and worker allowance. A neighbour’s traffic spike is not your problem.
Backed Up, Isolated And Watched, Without You Lifting A Finger
Most WordPress disasters are a bad update, a hacked plugin or a deleted folder. Every one of them has an undo button here.
- 30 Daily BackupsEvery site is backed up every night and kept for a month. Restore the whole site, just the files or just the database, in one click.
- Backups On DemandAbout to update a theme? Take a backup first, from the dashboard, in seconds.
- Every Site In Its Own BoxEach website runs in its own isolated container with its own user. Nothing on the platform can read another customer’s files.
- Nightly Malware ScansFiles are scanned every night and you are told if something is found. The usual attack doors, like XML-RPC, are shut by default.
- Free SSL, Renewed For YouEvery domain gets a certificate automatically and it renews itself. HTTPS is not a setting, it is just on.
- Password Protect AnythingHide a site behind a password while you build it. Works on live sites, staging and dev sites alike.
The Tools An Agency Expects, In A Dashboard A Business Owner Can Use
Everything lives in one members area at my.oxyforge.com. No cPanel, no plugin for every little thing.
One-Click Staging
Copy the live site to staging, try the new theme or plugin there, then push files, database or both back to live.
Dev Sites
A blank, password-protected WordPress for building the next thing. It uses your storage, not one of your website slots.
Domains That Just Connect
Add a domain, point one DNS record at us, and the certificate, the redirect and the WordPress address change are handled for you.
SFTP And WP-CLI
Per-site SFTP with SSH keys, and WP-CLI over SSH for the people who prefer a terminal.
Usage You Can Actually See
Storage and bandwidth per site, live, with caps you can set yourself so one site never eats the whole plan.
Hand A Site To A Client
Transfer a website to another Oxyforge account with a code. Files, database, domains and backups move together.
Last Night Is Always One Click Away
Every site is copied every night and the copies are kept for thirty days. Restore the whole site, only the files or only the database, from the dashboard, and a fresh backup is taken first so even a restore can be undone.
Copies live in Google Cloud Storage, away from the server that runs your site.
Your Site Lives In Its Own Box
Each website runs in its own container, as its own user, with its own database and its own share of the server. A neighbour that gets hacked or gets busy stays a neighbour's problem.
The same walls keep a site from reading another site's files, reaching another site's database or using up another site's memory.
Boring On Purpose
Google Cloud in Singapore. Nginx, PHP 8.3 and MySQL 8.4. Redis for the object cache. Cloudflare for the edge and for soaking up denial-of-service traffic. Nothing exotic, because exotic is what breaks at 2 a.m.
Each site runs as its own user inside its own isolated container. The platform watches disk, traffic, backups and malware for every site, and tells us before it tells you.
See What It CostsMore on the infrastructure: cloud hosting, high-traffic hosting and multisite hosting.
What Changes When You Move
| Typical shared hosting | Oxyforge | |
|---|---|---|
| Where The Server Is | Often the US or Europe, on a crowded box | Google Cloud, Singapore |
| Control Panel | cPanel, with hundreds of options you never use | One dashboard built only for WordPress |
| Caching | A plugin you install and tune yourself | Built in and cleared automatically |
| Backups | Weekly, if the add-on is paid for | Daily, kept 30 days, restore in one click |
| Staging | Rare, or a plugin | One click, push back to live |
| Isolation | Every account on the same server user | Own isolated container and user per site |
| SSL | Free but you install and renew it | Automatic on every domain |
| Temporary Domain | None; you wait for DNS to preview | On its own temporary address the moment it is created |
| Moving In | FTP and phpMyAdmin, one file at a time | A migration plugin or SFTP onto a temporary address first |
When Oxyforge Is The Wrong Choice
A host that fits everyone fits nobody. Here is the honest split.
A Good Fit
- A WordPress or WooCommerce site whose visitors are in Singapore and the region.
- A business owner who wants the site to work and never wants to see cPanel.
- An agency that wants every client on the same reliable setup, with staging for every change.
- Anyone who has lost a site to a bad update and wants last night's backup one click away.
Not A Fit
- Anything that is not WordPress. Static HTML, Laravel, Node or a custom app needs a different host.
- Root access, cPanel or installing whatever you like on the server. A VPS will make you happier.
- An audience mostly in the Americas or Europe, where speed there matters more than speed here.
- Newsletters or bulk email sent from the site itself. Use an email service and connect it over SMTP.
See It With Your Own Site
Bring a copy of your site onto a temporary address first. Nothing changes until you point your domain.
