A Wordify Alternative With A Singapore Region

A Wordify Alternative With A Singapore Region

Who This Is For

You host WordPress with Wordify, the platform does what it promises, and the thing nagging at you is where the server is. Wordify runs in five regions and none is in Asia. This is a Wordify alternative for a site whose readers, customers or editors are in Singapore or Malaysia, with every Wordify figure taken from wordify.com and observed in October 2026.

Key Takeaways

  • Wordify’s Starter plan is 15 US dollars a site a month, with Redis a further 10, observed on wordify.com in October 2026.
  • Wordify runs in five regions, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and Australia, and none of them is in Asia.
  • Backups are kept 7 days on Starter and Business and 14 on Pro, against 30 days here.
  • Wordify publishes a one-hour support SLA with money back if missed and does free migrations for you, and Oxyforge offers neither.
  • Stay with Wordify if your audience is outside Asia, or if you are an agency with twenty or forty sites at 5 dollars a site.

What Wordify Is Genuinely Good At

Wordify make a support promise almost nobody in this market will put in writing: a one-hour support SLA, with your money back if they miss it, and a published average human response time of 2 minutes 12 seconds. We publish neither a response time nor an uptime figure. That is not a small gap and we will not talk around it.

They also do the migration, free and done for you, most finished within the hour with zero downtime on a schedule you approve. And the platform is properly managed rather than a control panel with a WordPress logo on it: staging on every site that stays in sync with live and pushes back to live, SSH, Git and WP-CLI on every plan, daily backups with one-click restore, automated safe updates, and a global CDN with SSL.

The pricing shape is generous in ways ours is not. Billing is monthly and prorated daily, with no setup fee, no contract and money back in the first month. Starter is 15 US dollars a month, undercutting our Build plan at 24, and Pro gives 50 GB of storage for one site, more than our entire Scale allowance. The agency plans are the part we cannot touch: 50 dollars a month for 10 sites and 200 for 40, against our Scale plan at 80 a month for 10. An agency counting sites rather than isolation will do better there, and should. You also choose the region per site, where we have one region and no choice at all.

Where It Actually Hurts

Where It Actually Hurts - Oxyforge

The region, and nothing else comes close. The five options are the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and Australia, with any AWS region reserved for the enterprise tier. For a Singapore or Malaysian audience the nearest is Australia. We have not measured the difference and will not quote a figure we have not measured, but the mechanism is plain. Cached pages come from a CDN edge wherever you are; anything that cannot be cached goes back to the origin, which means wp-admin, a logged-in customer and a checkout. The people most exposed are you and your editors, who spend the day in the part of WordPress that is never cached.

Backup retention is short. Seven days on Starter and Business, fourteen on Pro. Ours is thirty. Seven days is ample for a plugin update that breaks the homepage on Tuesday, and not enough for something quietly wrong for a fortnight.

Redis is an add-on at the entry tier, at 10 US dollars a site a month, which makes the real Starter price 25. Pro performance is a further 40 a site a month on top, so price the plan you will be on in a year rather than the one on the button.

Resources are per site, not pooled, on the single-site plans, so a quiet site’s unused allowance does nothing for a busy one. The agency plans do pool, but at 10 GB of storage across 10 sites, a gigabyte a site, with anything beyond that at 50 US cents a gigabyte a month.

There is no annual price. No lock-in is a real feature, but it also means no way to pay less by committing to a year. Billing yearly here takes Build from 24 to 20 a month, and the price still does not rise at renewal.

One row is a draw rather than a win: we found no uptime percentage published by Wordify outside their enterprise tier, and we publish none either.

Underneath, each site runs in its own container with its own Unix user and MySQL database, behind an nginx page cache and a Redis object cache, on PHP 8.3 or 8.4 and MySQL 8.4. Cloudflare sits in front for CDN and DDoS protection, on Cloudflare’s free plan, so there is no web application firewall here and we will not claim one. SFTP, WP-CLI and a database manager are on all three plans, and any environment can be password protected. The detail is on the pricing page and the WordPress hosting page.

What Moving Costs You

What Moving Costs You - Oxyforge

An afternoon of your own time, because the migration is yours to run. Wordify will do it for you inside an hour. We will not do it at all, and would rather tell you that than advertise a team we do not have.

The good news is that this is a like-for-like move, with no cPanel to unpick. Create the site and it comes up at once on its own temporary address. Pull the Wordify site across with a migration plugin, or by hand over SFTP and WP-CLI if it is large. Then test properly: forms, logins, checkout, the pages that earn. Wordify keeps serving your visitors throughout, so nothing is down while you work. When you are happy, point the domain’s www record here and cancel. The walkthrough is in moving your site.

Two notes. We host no mailboxes at all, so any mail riding on that domain stays where it is. And a bare root domain cannot be pointed here, so you connect the www name and set URL forwarding at your registrar from the bare name to it.

Who Should Stay Put

Stay with Wordify if your audience is in North America, Europe or Australia, because there their region choice beats us and moving would make the site slower, not faster. Stay if a contractual one-hour response is something you need in writing. Stay if you are an agency with twenty or forty small sites, because 5 dollars a site is a price we cannot meet and will not pretend to. And stay if having somebody else do the migration is the deciding factor. We are the better fit in one case: your traffic is in South East Asia, you want a container, a Unix user and a MySQL database per site, you want thirty days of backups you can restore without asking, and you would rather pool one allowance across the account than meter each site. For agencies sets out how that works.

What To Do Next

  1. Ask Wordify whether they publish an uptime percentage outside the enterprise tier, because we could not find one, and check which of the five regions your site sits in today.
  2. Price the plan you will be on in a year, with Redis at a further 10 US dollars a site a month on Starter.
  3. Create the site on Oxyforge, and it comes up at once on its own temporary address. Pull your Wordify site across with a migration plugin, or over SFTP and WP-CLI, following moving your site. The move is your own job, and we do not do it for you.
  4. Test forms, logins, checkout and wp-admin from Singapore, while Wordify keeps serving your visitors.
  5. Point the domain’s www record here and cancel. Compare the three plans on the pricing page before you begin.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Wordify cost?

Their pricing page in October 2026 lists single-site plans at 15 US dollars a site a month for Starter, 25 for Business and 49 for Pro. Agency plans are 50 a month for 10 sites, 100 for 20 and 200 for 40, with extra sites at 5 a month. Redis is a further 10 a site a month on Starter. Billing is monthly, with no setup fee, no contract and no annual discount published.

Does Wordify have a Singapore or Asia region?

No. Wordify state five regions and let you choose one per site: the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and Australia, with their enterprise tier able to sit in any AWS region. The closest to Singapore is Australia. If your readers, customers or editors are in South East Asia, every uncached request has an ocean to cross, and no other Wordify plan fixes that.

Is Oxyforge a good Wordify alternative?

For a site whose audience is in Singapore or Malaysia, yes, because we serve from Google Cloud Singapore and Wordify has no Asia region. Otherwise Wordify is stronger on paper: a one-hour support SLA, free done-for-you migrations, five regions and agency pricing far cheaper per site. Pick us for the region, the 30-day backup retention and a container per site.

Does Wordify do the migration?

Yes, free, and their own wording is that they do it for you, most finishing within the hour with zero downtime on a schedule you approve. We do not move sites at all, so moving here means copying your own site onto a temporary address, testing it, then pointing the domain. On this row Wordify are ahead.

How long does Wordify keep backups?

Their pricing page in October 2026 shows 7 days on Starter and Business and 14 days on Pro, taken daily, with one-click restore. We keep nightly backups for 30 days, you restore them yourself without a ticket, and a fresh backup is taken just before the restore runs, so the restore itself can be undone.

Does Oxyforge match Wordify’s support SLA?

No, and this is our weakest column. Wordify publish a one-hour support SLA with your money back if they miss it, plus an average human response time of 2 minutes 12 seconds. We publish no response time, support is a ticket from the members area, and there is no phone line. If a guaranteed response is what you are shopping for, a Wordify alternative here is a step down.
