A Real WordPress Site, Free, For 24 Hours.
Create a temporary website from the members area and spend an evening with the platform. Same servers in Singapore, same stack, no plan and no payment. It deletes itself a day later.
The Cheapest Way To Judge A Host
Reading a features page tells you what we claim. A day on the platform tells you whether it is true.
A Real Site, Not A Demo
A temporary website is a genuine WordPress install on the same platform a paying customer gets: Google Cloud in Singapore, its own container, its own user, its own database.
Nothing To Undo Afterwards
It deletes itself after 24 hours, so there is no plan to cancel, no site left behind and nothing to remember. If you do not like what you see, you walk away.
You Need An Account First
Temporary websites are created from the members area, so the first step is an Oxyforge account. The account itself costs nothing and does not need a plan to make one.
Twenty-Four Hours Is Enough To Decide
See How Fast It Actually Is
Nginx page cache, Redis object cache and Cloudflare in front, answering from Singapore. Load the same page from your phone, from the office, from a client’s desk, and compare it with the host you are on now.
Put A Copy Of Your Site On It
Install your usual migration plugin and bring a copy across. Nothing about your live site changes, and you get to see your own pages on this platform rather than a sample theme.
Try Your Build
Install the theme and the plugins you really use, on PHP 8.3 or 8.4 with MySQL 8.4 behind it. The builders, the page speed and the admin screens behave the way they will on a paid site.
Walk Round The Members Area
See where the backups, the logs, the cache controls, the database manager and the usage figures live, so you know what you would be working in every week.
Keep It To Yourself
The site runs on its own address on our platform, and password protection is available on any site here, so nobody finds what you are halfway through building.
Break It On Purpose
Deactivate the wrong plugin, paste in the bad snippet, see what the error looks like. It is being deleted tonight either way, which makes it the most honest test you will run.
What You Are Working With
Three rules, and we would rather you knew them before you start than after.
24 Hours, Then It Goes
The site is deleted automatically a day after you create it, along with everything on it. Plan on an evening with it, not a fortnight.
Three At A Time
One temporary website at a time per account. When it expires, or you delete it, you can create the next one, so you can try a second build the following day.
No Email Leaves It
A temporary website sends nothing. Contact forms, order notices and password resets will not arrive, so test those on a real website on a plan.
Keeping What You Built
If the evening went well, you do not have to build it again. A temporary website can be claimed onto a real account with a code, which keeps the site you set up and puts it on a plan with backups, staging and domains.
The same code can hand the site to somebody else, so a developer can build on a temporary website and pass it to the client, who keeps it on their own account and their own card.
How Accounts Work
Keep It On Build
One website, with backups, staging and a domain of your own.
Build
$240 a year. That is $48 less than paying monthly.
- One website
- 10 GB storage
- 50 GB bandwidth a month
- A temporary address to test on
Where A Good Evening Ends Up
One website, properly hosted. For a business site, a portfolio or a blog that has to load fast and stay up.
- Servers In Singapore
- Free SSL On Every Domain
- Daily Backups, Kept 30 Days
- One-Click Staging
- Cloudflare CDN And DDoS Protection
- Nightly Malware Scans
- SFTP And WP-CLI
- PHP 8.3 And Redis
- Support From Real People
Every plan includes the same platform. The only difference is how many websites and how much room they have.
What People Ask Before Signing Up
What does the trial cost?
Nothing. You create an Oxyforge account, then create a temporary website from the members area. It does not need a plan and there is no charge for it.
How long does it really last?
Twenty-four hours from the moment it is created, then it is deleted automatically with everything on it. There is nothing to cancel, because there is nothing running afterwards.
Can I have more than one?
One at a time. It lasts 24 hours and then deletes itself; when it is gone, or you delete it yourself, you can create another. If you want to keep what you built, claim it onto a paid plan before it expires.
Can I keep what I built?
Yes. A temporary website can be claimed onto a real account with a code, or transferred to somebody else’s Oxyforge account the same way, so an evening of work does not have to be repeated.
Can I point my domain at it?
No. A temporary website lives on its platform address only. Domains belong on a real website on a plan, where the certificate and the primary domain are handled for you.
Is it the same platform as a paid site?
Yes. Same region, same stack, same isolation: one container, one Unix user and one MySQL database per site. What a plan adds is permanence, domains, staging and the nightly backups you can restore yourself.
Will my contact form work on it?
No, because nothing is sent out from a temporary website. On a real website, transactional email goes through Mailgun with a monthly cap per site, and you can connect your own SMTP provider instead.
What A Temporary Site Is Not
Not A Fit
- A free plan. It is a trial, and it is not a place to keep a website.
- Anywhere to run something live. It becomes inaccessible after 24 hours and is deleted 24 hours later, with everything on it.
- A way to send email. Nothing goes out from a temporary website, including contact forms.
- A site you can attach a domain to. Domains belong on a real website on a plan.
- A migration done for you. If you put a copy of your site on it, you do that part yourself.
